Licenses

From TapTo

An overview of licenses used by official TapTo projects. TapTo licensing is intended to allow both free and commercial projects to use it unmodified without any restrictions, but ensure modifications are contributed back to the TapTo community. Any modifications must be either contributed back to the original project, or republished in accordance with the individual license. Attribution must be retained in all cases.

  • Open source projects can use any part of TapTo projects without permission.
  • Open source and closed source projects can declare they are "TapTo compatible" or "compatible with TapTo" without permission, as long as this is true and in good faith.
  • Closed source projects (including software or hardware) require permission from the project to display the TapTo Logo.

Please contact the project if you are unsure about any of these licensing arrangements, or have any licensing requests.

TapTo (Software)
